Going Away For The Week

Next week I will be going away, of course for spring break, untill April 17. And I have a few questions. People say the Betas and tetras shouldn't go in the same tank together since tetras are "fin nippers". Anyway, I have had tetras and a beta in the same tank for awhile now and nothing seems to be going wrong. Now my question is should I take the beta out and put it with my other one. I know they can't be togrther, but if I used a tank divider, and will they both fit in one ten gallon.

yes they will both fit in a ten. Try to use an opaque divider. One that can't be seen through. One concern Is that one of the betta's may jump into the other tank...not sure how you'd deal with that.

No, because I have a lid, which I'm pretty sure they can't move.

oops I meant to say one might jump into the other side of the tank. does the divider go all the way to the lid?
