i have a 15 gal
and i have

1 rtbs
1 albino shark
1 japonica shrimp
1 red cherry shrimp
1 head and tail light tetra
2 glowlight tetras

i know there all odd coz some have died etc over time
i know albino shark and rtbs dont ment to go together but too .

so what could i put in that would go with shrimp and maybe something dofferent
maybe avoiding tetras.

p.s would this be a too small ank for marine

your tank isnt too small for marine but it is classed as a nano reef which is mainly experts only as it is highly unstable. Also if u wanted to go marine it would be fairly costly. i think a shoal of harlequin rasboras would look nice in your tank :)

ive had them before yes
erm well why would it be so difficult
also how much would it cost

Your tank is too small for a marine, and even a nano wouldnt be advised as its a lot harder to control water in a smaller tank. Stick to freshwater.

If you want marine get a 30" tank bare minimum for a nano experience :) (my opinion)

ok well what shall i put in this
would any shrimps be ok
what wouldnt go with the shrimp

It is very difficult because the standard 75 gal saltwater has more variables than freshwater and is more difficult to keep where as with a nano those variables can fluctuate a lot more resaulting in fish / coral death.

Here is a very good article by Great_Lakes

I do not want to deter you from saltwater as it can be an even more rewarding hobby than freshwater if done right.

Edit: Also amano shrimp make a nice addition to the aquarium and are renowned for there algae cleaning abilities also pretty much any community fish would go with these (i think).

no forget saltwater im talking about FW now

ok what specific common fish wouldnt

1 rtbs
1 albino shark
1 japonica shrimp
1 red cherry shrimp
1 head and tail light tetra
2 glowlight tetras

id rehome both the sharks cos the tank isnt big enough for either, even on there own.

then id up the number of your tetras to groups of 5, add a center piece fish like some red honey gouramis or german blue rams (a pair of either) then get a few cories OR a bristlenose plec.

To be honest Killifish, I'd increase the numbers of what you already have

With the exception of the sharks all the other fish in your tank are happier in shoals, tetra's like to be in numbers of about 6 of each type and they look much better in numbers too.

The shrimp also feel safer in numbers and the more of them you have, the braver and more active they get, so maybe increase their numbers too.

So personally I'd work at getting 4 more glolights, 5 head & taillights, and 5 each of amano and cherry shrimps they are all nice looking critters especially when they are in suitable numbers. You could probably also add a few rasbora's and maybe a dwarf gourami or 2, but do it slowly only add a few fish at a time over a period of a few weeks to reduce the amount of strain on the bacteria in the filter.

All my opinion of course ;)

Arfie

so would a plec go with them for now
im not rehoming them i like them
would they fight with a plec.
i did say hes not a amono shrimp
its JAPONICA. and i dont think many places sell those,

wlell ive got nowere to rehome to
what else could i do

if i do rehome them it wont be yet so they will be here for a bit longer

with the bioload you have now and would have by increasing tetra numbers, a plec wouldn't fit.

and i'd ID your albino shark, i'm not sure how many come in albino, but the others are right, it's gonna be getting cosy in there!

and yes, get your tetras friends, they look best in shoals anyway.

what u meen my albino shark wil be getting cosy in there
