Goby And Shrimp Pair Quest..

Do catalina gobies have a sym relationship with pistol shrimps too?

No they will also not tolerate high temps for long (a few months) so need slightly cooler water.

WOW there nice gobies though im trying to think which shrimp goby to get aswell.

Might go order one after my interview.

Like sorgan says no the Catalina, but any of the Amblyeleotris will do.

A few example are:


Diagonal Banded (A. diagonalis)
Orangespotted (A. guttata)
Randall's (A. randalli)
Steinitz's (A. steinitizi)
Wheeler's (A. wheeleri)

I must admit i have only ever seen the Orange, Randall's and Wheeler's in a lfs.
