I just bought some glosso off ebay to replace my current dwarf sag carpet, I've read some articles on it and would like to know your experiences and preferences.

Lighting: My aquarium is a 29 gallon with 4x 20w bulbs. I've read that 8000k is the best for glosso, yes or no? What light combination should I use with my 4 bulbs?

Substrate: 100% fluorite, a year old, should I add fertilizer to the substrate? Iron?

Thanks.

Glosso can get very intrusive if not kept in check (just check my journal :D ) Its very high maintenance.
As to your tube choice 8000k should be ok although i prefer the warmer look (4000 -6500 k) Just go for full spectrum lamps.
As to the ferts, I tried to stick to the EI method as much as poss, as with all high illum tanks things can get out of hand pretty quick.
