Hi there....

Ok...I've got a glass top for my 75gal tank ...and i was just wondering how people went about cleaning these...Between condensation from the tank and the lights i have for my plants i have a wicked algae problem on it. Now i use hot water once in awhile to clean it...but it takes a fair bit of scrubbing to get the algae off and frankly, its quite annoying! Do you people clean this...maybe some hints on how you keep it that way ...or should i just give up and let it go? :p

IMHO scrubbing is the only way to beat this problem.
you will also find in time a build up of limescale this can only be removed by the use of a razor blade :/

Yep I got the same problem with my glass top, annoying huh! :grr:

I agree with wolf, Scrub!! Rub a bit of lemon on stubborn stains. Let it soak for a bit then scrub. Someone on the forums recommended it when I was cleaning up my 2nd hand tank, It worked really well
