I have been looking at the glass flow pipes like Ada and Cal for a while but put off a little by the price.

Has anyone seen these ones from Aquatic Magic?

I have a glass diffusor, glass bubble counter and glass NRV from there and am very happy with their quality so what do you think about these?

Yeah saw them last week, very handy to know, although im not ready for them. Sods law, when i want some i wont beable to get them.

I have the Cal Aqua version on my Iwagumi and they look great, especially since they are the only hardware I have in there. The only draw back is that they will need cleaning out periodically, so you may find soaking them in bleach and using the Eheim flexible cleaning brush from here helps.

Dave the only drawback is you can possibly break them! have to agree though they are a very nice price although I dont really like the intake with the bulbous bottom bit, I wonder how much/little he would accept on the make an offer price?

He advertises these on APC in his vendor/sponsor section and says for members of APC he will accept $45 shipped, thats a good price, just pm him for that offer, although you can probably do just as well on ebay by making the same offer.

Im sure the quality is fine, human error will probably play a bigger part if you mishandle them I would imagine.

Only other drawback is that the intake is 12 inches long , so for my small 24x12x12 tank the intake would not really be suitable when you add 2-3 inches of substrate.
