Glass Cats In With Larger Fish?

Hi guys, on Friday I am taking all my fish from my 90gal to the fish shop to make way for some oddballs. Anyway I recently bought 3 Glass Cats which I like and dont really want to take back so I was wondering on their copatability in a tank of 48x 15x 12 40gal. with;

1x Blood Parrot
1x RTBS
1x Network Syno
1x Hoplo
3x Peacock Eels (going in the 90 gal though)
1x Firemouth

What do you think? Will they be ok? They ar about 2" at the moment and the larges of the fish in there at the minut eis about 6".

glass cats are quite shy and sensitive, i don't think they would appreciate being in with bigger boisterous companions

i tent to agree. they are too quiet and gentle for rowdy neighbours

Ah well, looks like they're going back then. Only got a very slight salt water setup or a Red Clawed Cray set up which I dont think are suitable either. Shame they are very nice fish.

Just like to note that tank is way overstocked

It's nowhere near overstocked. A mature 40gal can comfortably hold 60" of fish. As this has been running for well over a year I see no problem with this stocking. Each has ample room for swimming, nothing is going to grow too large for it either with the network Syno probably being the biggest at a probable 8" when fully grown.

Blood Parrot-----7" at most (it was a dyed one that had been returned to the shop so I took it) definately been stunted
RTBS-----6" at most
Tiger Botia----8" maybe 10 but very doubtful
2x Bristlenoses 5"
Hoplo Cat----6"
Firemouth-----5-6"

That maxes out at 53" I think, 55 at the very most. The tank is over filtered and the fish have now been in for a while. Nothing else will be going in anyway now but if you keep good water quality and good filtration then I probably could add a few more inches of fish. The only problem I could see would be room but at the moment there is plenty of room.
