I can't tell if my glass catfish/ghost fish are eating. They never seem to see or smell the food and even though I have had them for two weeks now I have yet to see any of them go after food. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

How many do you have? They are very shy and won't do well in a shoal of less than 8 or 10. Have you tried them with frozen food, like bloodworms? Or live if you can get hold of some?

I have four, and I would have bought more but that is all the store had at the time. When they get more in I plan on adding to them, and yes I tried feeding them frozen bloodworms (after they were thawed) but they just let them float down to the bottom of the tank.

mine were like that to but then randomly i would see them sneak up to the cubes while they were floating at just attack it real quick and swim away..i think they just like to be sneaky:] i also notice them eating more late at nite when its completely dark..hes right they do wayyy better in larger schools but i only have two and they seem pretty content maybe try collecting a few more and see how they do

ps look at that large organ at the front where it looks like their chest would be.. if its sunken and clear theyre not eating much if it looks full and dark theyre eating

ALSO try not thawing them my fish barely notice all they stray sinking bloodworms they seem more intrigued by they big smelly floating brick above them:p

Thank you both of you it's much appreciated! I hope they do okay!
