givin up on mollies

well, around 2 this morning, i found my black molly dead at the bottom of my tank. but i think she died during birth, for she is slimmer and some of my other fish seem fatter. but now, it looks like my silver molly is gonna give birth. if she dies to. i'm giving up.

i'm sure she wont. and think about Why giving up just because 1 of your mollies died

From what I have heard of others experience of black mollies, they are the most sensetive type of mollie going. More likely to be affected by water issues and by any stress. I was told if I wanted mollies they are best avoided. Hopefully your other molly will be fine. Don't give up on them tho. They are beautiful fish. I'd just avoid the blacks.

So sorry to hear this. Have to admit I gave up on black mollies 30 yrs ago, they were the one fish I just could not keep alive. Beautiful creatures though, and I know others have managed better than me. If I ever go for mollies again I'll try a different type.
