girardinichthys multiradiatus is a beautiful goodeid but can be very difficult to keep. they are best kept in a tank of at least 2 foot long i keep them between 62- 70f) I find when kept above 70f they will quickly suffer and die. I feed them live brineshrimps grindalworms and flake food. they will eat almost any food given. fry are born between 6-8 weeks and will sex out after about 6 weeks old.i have been keeping and breeding these fish for 3 years and find them to be very peaceful. Although it as been said these fish can be very aggressive to etch other.

Hi fish48 stunning photo of this very rare fish.

This is a very cool water fish like u say, when i had then in my living room at room temp, they did seam to suffer on the hot summer days.
Thats why i need to set up a fish room again to keep a cooler steady temperature to keep these fish happy.
