i have a few apple snails and was wondering what treatment i could use that is safe for my snails

thanks

You'll get a better response if you post this in the emergency section where they deal with illnesses.

Flicking is a common sign of ich / whitespot.

What other fish do you have in the tank?

Can you see any white spots on any of them?

This will probably best be answered over in the emergency section (I have already sent an alert request to have it moved there) - because fist of all you need to identify what illness you are dealing with.
Could be something like whitespot (ICH) or gill flukes - but you need to post some more information - any info you can give will help:

When posting a request for help can you please include the following info

1. Water parameters. (ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, PH, temp', Hardness etc)
2. A full description of the fishes symptoms.
3. How often you do water changes and how much.
4. Any chemicals and treatments you add to the water.
5. What tank mates are in the tank.
6. Tank size.
7. Finally Have you recently added any new fish?

You may cut and paste the template below and submit in your post:

Hi zedonepilot :)

I'll move your thread over to the Emergencies section, but I'd also like to suggest that you check your water parameters before you do anything else. One of the reasons fish flick like that is because they haven't had enough water changes, and nitrite or nitrate is too high.

More frequent and/or larger water changes will resolve the problem. :D

Need water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph, as bad water quality can cause fish to flick.
Any red inflamed gills or pale with excess mucas on them.
Any grains of salt or dusting on the fish.
Does the slime coat look cloudy.
