Giant Java fern

Yesterday I went to my LFS to pick up some plants to aquascape with and I got this giant Java fern. The guy called it a mother plant?….. and said it was nine years old
And then proceeded to tell me not to kill this one. I just smiled and said I’ll try my best



FYI: it’s one plant not a whole bunch in the bag

That is not a big fern

This was a single fern that I divided. The tank is a 29 gal. which is 30 inches wide and 18.75 inches tall.
