Giant Golden Dogfaced Puffer Anyone?

First off let me jsut say I am not a marine fish guy and I have no idea what you guys are tlakign about unless freshwater has it as well. Anyway, my LFS has this very large (about a foot long) puffer fish and they have had it for about 3 months now, the poor huge guy has been in that little 30-40 gallon tank forever it seems and he always looks so bored in there, healthy and what not but jsut so cramped and bored looking. So if you live in the US and you have been looking for one of them, contact House Of Tropicals. I am sure they would be more then happy to let you take it off their hands.

Edit: I went to the shop today and I got the name, it is a Golden Dogfaced Puffer. It appears to be full grown and healthy. It eats so it seems good haha.

It'd be nice to know just what kind of puffer it is, there are many that grow large. It shouldn't actually be a mbu, otherwise known as a giant puffer, if its in saltwater. God, at least I sure hope not! But if you can find out just what kind it is and let us know where it is, someone might be able to help it.

well.. It is green and yellow kind of has spots but not any real markings.. anyone have a bunch of photos of different puffers? It is a real beautiful fish..

There could be so many types of puffers that it could be. Most saltwater puffers have odd spots or markings and have various variants of them. THe dog face puffer at least has bout 3 different color morphs.
