that pic got me into so much trouble! Around Christmas I was looking out for a flemish giant, but didnt have the spare room finished and ready for one, and the mrs changed her mind about allowing me to have one so the idea kind of fell by the wayside. however my mum saved that article out of the paper and let me have it last week, which kinda set me off again!! Saw some continental giants advertised in the local paper last week too....

Yes, there are people in the world who still relish a well-cooked rabbit. I prefer rabbit in garlic sauce, a Spanish dish, myself. Incredible!

The bunny is cute, by the way, and I'm not always this blood thirsty. I have the same reaction to those cute pot-bellied pigs. I keep thinking, mmmm, pulled pork sandwich. I'll stop now.

SUPERSIZE ME!!!!

I really think that these rabbits are the key to feeding starving people all over the world. 1. They're just huge 2. They breed like well, rabbits.

I really need to stop thinking about food.

when i told my gf's dad about our plan to get a giant rabbit, funnily enough he told me that as a boy they used to have someone calling round selling live giant rabbits door to door - when people picked the one they wanted, he would take it back to his cart and "dispatch" it for them

useless nugget of info here but eating rabbits actually uses up the bodys minerals and vitamins in their digestion, so people in survival situations eating only rabbits can actually end up worse off!!!

you know, with a bun that big, i bet you could just keep him out in the backyard with a doghouse. you'd have to extend the fence underground a few feet, but i bet that'd still be easier than trying to keep him indoors.
