Fish Fanatic
Went to the LFS the other day to trade in some fish. They offered to give me some ghost shrimp for my humback that I have. They gave me 5 of them. Took them home and put them in my 10 gallon feeder tank that has guppie fry in it. I have been gut loading these shrimp for 3 days now. I noticed the other day that I have tiny I mean tiny shrimp babies. I thought that it was just some debree floating in the water, then a guppie went to go investigate and the little shrimp shot away from the guppie. I am guessing that these are ghost shrimp babies. If they are how many babies do ghost shrimp have?
I would like to keep these shrimp alive for feeding my humpback, but I know that I will probably suck them out when I do a water change in this tank. I change the water atleast once a week. Is there anyway that I can keep these shrimp in the tank without sucking them up when I change the water? Any ideas would be helpfull. Thanks
