Hey,

My three ghost shrimp I think had an encounter with a puffer fish..he has since gone. two are battered, tails nipped etc. Will they recover at all? The third however is in a worse way his legs have been munched tails completely nipped off. He appears to be swimming not in a straight line or anything and not sure if hes feeding. But is it possible he could come back from that? Or is it better to put him out of his misery as it were? Its my fault for being irresponsible with my stocking, I want to put it right!

Cheers.

The legs and tails will come back after the next shed on the first two :good: Can you post pics of the third, as his/her dammage sounds worse

All the best

hopefuly your shrimp ARE ghosts. if the one doesnt make it, 30 cents isnt going to bother you. im assuming the two, if not all, will recover through molting.

Hope so. I actually think their J something and I know their young go through a stage of needing salt water? Anyway can't get a picture of the badly injured guy as hes behind a plant at the back and dont really want to disturb him. Looks like hes lost his actual legs but still has his back swimming legs. His antena are gone and like his tiny pincer things at the front.
