Ghost Shrimp Behavior

I just caught my ghost shrimp eating its cast off exoskeleton. Is this normal?

yep its just getting the calcium from it i think

Oh dear, I have just done a water change and got rid of it. Still it would be pretty darn hungry to eat all of that!

dont worry they dont always eat them, just sometimes =]
