Ghost Shimp

hi im new to this site so please bare with me lol.

i have two little ghost shimp living very happy in my tank but when they come to gether they get red dots in lines all the way along there bodys ? i no there not fighting as they just sit there touching each other, but when they go there own way in the tank they go back to been clear ? why ? is this a breeding thing or are they just comunicating

any help would be great,

do you mean amano shrimp? mine sometimes get a line of dots, no idea why, but amanos dont breed in freshwater tanks the eggs need brackish water to hatch

yer thats the ones ive got, the larger of the two was sitting on top of the smaller one and now the smaller one is dead, they didnt fight or loose any legs, it just slowed right down then died ??? the larger one was added to the tank after the smaller one so do you think this could be a im bigger and its my tank sort of thing

Just checking, but was the dead shrimp the entire shrimp? Amano's go pink after they die, but the do moult their clear skin as they grow.
