Gh & Kh Test Kit / Ro Unit

HI,

i've been researching GH & KH, can anyone recommend me a good GH & KH test kit? i already have API kit for PH, ammonia etc.

Also as i have hard high PH water and hoping to keep Angels and cardinal tetras, i'm thinking of RO units to mix distilled water with my tap water (not sure what quantity i would need yet) can anyone recommend a cheap good RO unit? my tank is 130Litre. I also have an uncycled tank to set up in the year i hope which is 240litre.

on the RO units, do they clog up so best to have some kind of inline pre filter?

any advice is welcome!

7.8/8 before adding bogwood (but i dont think itll bring it down much) if i buy fish locally it should be alirhgt, but i may buy fish online from PH6.7...
