Had a interesting phone call with my local water board yesterday. While i was on i wanted to double check with them about the GH of my water and i was shocked to learn my water is softer than i thought. I doubled checked online and it turns out my water is 163ppm (9Gh) which flabbergasted me because ive been going on 13 Gh.

luckily i havent got any liverbearers and the fish i do have still come in the new range. I was going on a certain area code which i didnt realise split into 2 sections.

Really chuffed because this opens up my fish options somewhat for the better :yahoo: :band::drinks:

Are you doing any water changes? If you are how often and haw much water do you change.? If you don't do regular water changes and don't replace enough water . the Tanks GH level will increase over time. I personally do a 50% water change once a week.
