Gh And Kh Readings

Can anyone tell me how to convert the GH and KH readings to dgh readings..I bought a test kit abd it shows my KH as 143 and my gh at 210...I am trying to figure out the dgh readings from those. I want to lower the gh for breeding..Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To lower hardness you can filter through peat moss. This will stain your water kind of like tea, and soften it at the same time.

Divide ppm by 17.7 to get dg. Works for both GH and KH. Bear in mind that 1 dg can be 1 ppm or 17.7 ppm and anything between, etc etc.
