Getting rid of fertilizer smell

I was wondering what I could do to get rid of that fertilizer smell. I've planted my tank about 5 days ago and now the smell from the fertilizer is HORRIBLE. What can I do to get rid of it?

I have my tank set up in my room but I'm worried about breathing the fumes. I'd have to move it out of I can't get rid of the smell and moving a 10 gallon from my room to another is going to be hell. Not to mention that the other room will stink too.

my fertilizer is no more than a few drops. what fumes are yours creating?

Good fertilizers should leave no fumes, odour or color in the water.

Mine doesn't smell either.

Fertilizer shouldn't smell. I'm guessing that you're using a wrong type of fertilizer. Hopefully, it's a fishless aquarium.
