Getting ready to breed guppies

Hi i had 1 male and 1 female betta in this 5 gallon they breed but my male ate most of the eggs only like 20 left in the nest mostlikey they wont live so today im going to clean it out and put my 6 guppies in there i got 3 males and 3 females i got alive plant and a fake one i will put in there and a heater and gravel do i need anything else ty

Once your guppies mate (and they will mate) if you want to save any fry you'll need a breeding trap. Do you have a tank heater. They'll be ok without one, but its better for their health if you do have one, and they'll live longer. Hope this helps! I also have/breed guppies.

I have gravel in my tank a filter 2 rocks 3 nice plants and a heater they have stuff to hide in. i guess thats enough
