Getting Out Of Bettas For Awhile...

My depression is sinking in... :-( I love your boys. I'm sad I can't even take in one. I hope they find loving homes.

Tonight is a no-go as I'm running on about 2 hours of sleep and spent the day hiking, so I do not want to fall asleep at the wheel with a fishie in my car. Also, I'm going to do another round of sterilization on the tank I want to put him in tonight; I've bombed it twice allready, but I try to do it 3 times whenever I can since I'm amazingly paranoid about illnesses.
If tomorrow isn't great though, I could do thurs. night. I get out of class at about noon and would need to stop home to eat, so I think 3:00 is the earliest realistic time. But any time after that is quite game.

wow they look great but can't afford them :( just out of curiousity(sp?) how old is ur ct?

Sorry to see you giving them up. I want Edge badly, and I've even got room for him now. Price, however . . . I dunno if I could afford $15 (I know, how cheap is that?!). If he's still there in about a week and if he hasn't already been bought by fishwatcher, I'll gladly take him. Of course, fishwatcher gets first dibs, since she staked a claim first. :)

That is one thing I haven't thought about... whether the shipping that far would be likely to kill him.... :/
I was thinking the exact same thing.. Aiden would have a pretty far ways down south to go.. (I live in TN) It takes 2-3 days right? I would hope it would be 2 since I won't be here on Saturday (but my mom will)

Just to calm everybody's nerves about shipping, I have gotten 6 bettas from BettaBum. She lives in New York and I live in Idaho. So basically they were shipped from east coast to west coast.

The first shipment took 7 days to get to me (priorty...but USPS was stupid...) but all three of the fish were perfectly fine, just a bit hungry. And to this day (it has been almost 3 months since I got them) they are all very happy and healthy. Building HUGE bubblenests. :D

My second shipment took 4 days (priorty...the usual amount of time priorty is suppose to take) and they were all safe and sound too. Three more this time. I got them nearly a month ago, and all are still alive, happy, and healthy. :)

So don't worry about the shipping. BettaBum knows what she is doing when she packs them and they will be fine.

OH, and I wanted to add that if I had space for ANY more bettas, I would be getting some from BettaBum. I trust her, and I LOVE her boys. I'm sad I can't take anymore in.

Edited for spelling.
