Getting My Tank Set Up Eventually!

Hey!

I am finally getting my fish tank setup after 3 months of having the tank! I just bought a cabinet for it and will be setting up on tuesday! I am going to use play sand for substrate and have 2 fluval 2's ready for it! I have no idea what I am going tp put in it (29 gallons) except 3 sterbai cory, otos and a pearl gourami, any suggestions??

How about a nice school of fish, like harlequin rasboras or rummy-nose tetras? That would be pretty.
You could also do a group of dwarf praecox rainbows... active and nice colors.

Don't add the Otos until the tank has been fully cycled then matured after that for at least a month; new additions are prone to die in new tanks at the best of times, so give the tank time to mature first. Buy 5-6 for a 29G, giving them somewhere to shelter.

I was going to add the otto's last with possibly some neon tetras after about 8 weeks so the tank can get some algae culture going and let it mature. I was thinking of harlequins or maybe even some blind cave tetras. Any more suggestions anyone???

I'd definitely go with the Harlequins; a group of 6-10 look fabulous in a planted tank.
