Im having trouble getting plants up to higher levels in the tank...

The tank is 19" tall and i can only get plants to grow about 8-9" high... I was thinking of getting some branches from the woods and stripping and baking them to make platforms to put some anubias and moss...

Also i want to get rid of my java fern and replace it with a different plant... the hardscape is a pile of pebbles in the rear corners(fern coming out of them) with a piece of wood, slate covered in moss and 3 rocks covered in riccia.

Also in the tank i have 6 amo swords (3 are only babies,2") and some un-ID'd plants.. these are like creepers and have pointed leaves..

Any ideas on what i could get to fill it out a bit?

I can get pics if needed :good:

the thin leaved plants are out now and the wood on the right.

Thanks Truck.. I quite like bushy, wide plants more than the thin ones.

I'm going to do some pruning today so will have a few clumps of 'Limnophila Sessiliflora', 'Hygrophila Polysperma' & maybe some 'Hygrophila difformis'. They all grow tall & bushy quickly (18"-20" in my tank)& the prunings usually go in the compost bin but if you would like some let me know & I can pop them in the post, no charge.
