Getting Better Coloured Loaches

can anyone help
I have two adult clown loaches and they are very light in color is there anything that i can feed them to get better colour out of them.
I have tried nurtfin color flakes and this has not helped, any suggestions??

if your water quality is bad or they are other fish in the tank stressing them they will go dull, also try getting a few more, i always keep my clowns in groups of 5 or more, but as they getter bigger they dont seem as boldly coloured as the youngsters.
