Been for a drive to our local Aquatics centre today, thought I'd get some ideas for my new tank.... (which still hasn't arrived  )....

Just wondered if someone could point me in the right direction ??

My tank hold 96 litres, which I believe is a little over 20G (UK) 25G (US) and I'm wondering what I can keep in here ?? Hopefully if I don't kill them my tank will be well planted !! Oh, doing a fishless cycle btw !!

Those that I've seen and am quite drawn to include:

Tetras (neons, and some other pretty silver one with a prominent dorsal fin whos name I can't remember  )
Tiger Barbs
Zebra Danios
Albino Corydoras
Amano shrimp

I would also like a pleco of some kind, and some of the snails that I read about on here Malayan ??

So I'm wondering which out of these can be kept together, and in what quantities ?
Whether anyone has some other ideas of what would work well in my tank ??
Oh and my husband wants to know if theres any type of frog we can keep in our aquarium :/ ??

Thanks

BL

well tiger barbs tend to nip at fins so if you were to get one only get one. but besides that it dosent seem like there is a problom. but i would like to recomend black neon tetras and rosey tetras :D

No tiger barbs, the tank is too small really (for a group, which is how you should keep them...). Maybe 6 danios, 6 of one tetra species and six cories? And if you really want shrimp, three or so.

mind you, rubbernose plecs and cories don't really care for algae. if you get a rubbernose and/or cories, be sure to pick up some sinking food for them. (i personally like the Hikari Bottomfeeder wafers.)

Are there any online sites I can order fish from, as I wasn't overly impressed with the place I visited yesterday, and I'm not exactly spoilt for choice when it comes to LFS's ????
