I would see what is in your area and if you become attached! I love CTs but ended with a VT in my last tank

I go by colour rather than tail shape, but I guess if you intend to breed it's a pretty important factor, I don't really know what to advise, just find someone who jumps out at you

As beautiful as feather and rose tails can be, they often have ray and scale deformities and IMO, shouldn't be bred intentionally and if a FT or RT pops up, it shouldn't be used for breeding.

If you like FTs and want a pet, get one.

Personally, I like veiltails. I have CTs, HMs and VTs, and when my VTs are fully fit and have full tails, they are the prettiest of the lot.
