I have always liked the ratio of one male, and three females, that has always been great for me. But, I don't have guppies anymore, they died quite a while ago, I had them for like 7 years.
I have never had angels in a guppy tank before, I always went by the chart of compatibility, it is my bible!
well this is my opinion but i think anyone would get more pleasure out of seeing baby guppies grow than feeding the poor guys to a angelfish you should stick with feeder guppies tho using fancys would be a waste of money u didnt mention what kind so i apologize if i made a mistake
Hi everyone, I have had 9 Guppies in my tank for a few months. I had to rescue 2 Angelfish from a friend as he put them in with loads of Neon Tetras (needless to say, he didn't have loads left after a few weeks). The Guppies and the Angelfish have bee living quite happily together and I have had no problems. This might be a special case and I am new to the fish scene but they seem happy.
They are probably too full of tetras lol!....I personally dont think it would be a wise choice to put angels and guppys together....If i was going to test out the angels i would prolly just buy some feeder guppies like mentioned above...and see how the angels react to them....if they leave them alone you can always buy ONE fancy and put it in with them....be the colours and fancy shape may lure them to the guppy...thats what hapeend to my guppy and betta....and angels are pretty agressive sometimes!
