Updated list and pictures of my betta lovelys.
Here is my betta boy Micah. He is my favorite veil tail I have ever owned. HE is also a whimp. It takes me about 10 minites to catch him on WC days, andit takes him a full day to forgive me.
"this is my angry face! Playing with zoom!
"I should so be a posterchild for Hikari!"
This is my newest veiltail, Anderson. Named as such because he lives in an anderson pretzel jar. They are so cheap, and my parents give me the jars after they finish the pretzels. Betta lids from the store cups snap on perfectly on these. They hold about 2 gallons.
"I might look great, but I am a tail biter!"
this is his beautiful house. The gravel matches his colors perfectly, that was an acciedent. He is actually proportionally smaller in there, he was swimming in the curve of the jar.
his tail is worse now. TAILBITING!
My synirr baby, my little love. He has doubled or tripled in size, but he is still titchy. He will get a tank upgrade when he effing grows.
It took me about 20 minutes to get a decent shot of him. He is so small and he moves so fast! And my room is dark.
"food, for me? how sweet."
"I do not feel photogenic."
Reese is my little veil who I bought with horrible fin rot. He is doing much better, and will get a home upgrade as soon as possible.
he is so mellow that he would NOT flare.
Narcissa is my only girl betta. She was an impulse buy. She was sickly at the store, and she still tail clamps. She was the only living thing on the female shelf at a lfs. They had a heating issue and all the fish got seriously overheated. Poor girl.
she looks so sad.
Skittles has been around with me for a long time. He almost died of the mystery disease that I had in the middle of summer.
his pictures didn't come out too well, and my patience was gone.
trying to be a leaf
My shyest fish is also my newest. Louie is my doubleray crowntail that I found for a remarkably low price. He too inhabits a pretzel jar, and flipped the hell out when I photographed him.
He was trying desperately to escape his doom of the camera.
He has fallen in love with this pen. He mopes when I take it away.
*pant* that's all the bettas!
