German Lue Ram Tail Eaten/fallen Off

ive had a pair for about 2 month now but the other day as i was walking past the tank i noticed that one of them has lost its tail its swimming fine and seems happy anyone had this before and it looks asif its growing back can anyone confirm this or am i seeing things

Have you tested the water? How big is the tank and what fish are in it?

In time it will grow back but tails don't just fall off. You'll need to get to the bottom of how it happened so you can prevent it happening again. Do you have any other cichlids or aggressive fish in there?
