Is it ok to keep 2 female german blue rams?
I bought 2, being told they were a pair but im fairly sure they're both females after looking at them more closely. They're fine with each other at the moment, one's definitely more dominant as she will chase the other away from food . But will they become aggressive towards each other as they grow? (they're about an inch long ATM) I'm not bothered about having a breeding pair, i just want them happy :)

Thanks

ps. The one in my avatar is the one i was told was a male but you can clearly see the pink belly and black on the ventral fins

That's fine providing that they have sufficient room.

Ok thanks, there is plenty of room and plants, caves etc for them to hide. They never seem to though, they're the most inquisitive fish i've owned!
However they sometimes chase my black phantom tetra but none of my other fish, do you know why this may be? and would it be reduced when i add more tetra as i have a pair at the moment but will increase numbers at some point :)

Females do create territories, which is why tanks with generous foot prints are advised for Rams, they're simply chasing them off 'their patch'.
