German Blue Rams

Hey All,

I want to get a pair of German Blue Rams but just want to check your thoughts on whether they would be compatible with my current fish.

175L Community Tank

4 x Angels, 2 x Silver Sharks, 2 x Boesemani and 2 x Red Rainbows, 2 x Bronze Cory's and 2 x Gold Gouramis.

think they should be ok, quite peaceful. i think they might be come a little aggresive when breeding?

Yeah they can be a bit touchy when breeding but the tank is big enough for them to be able to claim their own space without stressing the other fish, make sure there are lots of hiding spots in the tank.

Generally they are pretty peaceful to fish of other species (not other dwarf cichlids). Lovely little fish

yes they are compatible

however the silver sharks get too big for your tank, and the cories would be much happier in a group of 6 or more so I'd advise making those changes before getting any new additions

Noted Miss Wiggle....was misinformed when setting up my tank about the max size of the sharks. I intend to take them out as well as 2 of my angels. When this happens I will put in the Rams and a few more Cories.
