Hey guys. Yesterday i picked up a couple of German Blue Rams to add to my 75 gallon community tank. They joined the following fish

10 Golden Zebra Danios
5 Peppered Cories
4 Clown Loaches
8 Rummy Nose tetras (also bought yesterday)
1 very young Red Tail Black Shark

One of them (the rams) definitely is a male. He's got long fins and outstanding color. I'm still up in the air with the other one. It is less colorful and a little bit smaller. The fins are not quite as big. For the first day or so after being put in the tank, the two of them swam together for about 90% of the time. However, this afternoon, things changed for a little bit. The sure male took up a perch on top of a rock tower on the right side of the tank. Whenever the other one tried to come over, the bigger one would lunge at him and chase him for a foot or so. After about an hour or so, this behavior stopped and they resumed swimming together.

My question is... how big do they need to be before i can tell which sex they are? What else can i look at besides size, coloring and fins? Ill try to post a picture tomorrow. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
