can any1 please post some pics of male and female rams so i can look 2 see the differences between sexes. or just any sexing tips please.

sorry my photo is not very good, but with mine you can see the female with the red belly. the male has a longer 2nd & 3rd dorsal fin. someone with more experience might be able to tell you more.

yh its pretty clear with ur pick the red area but its never that clear when i go 2 the lfs lol do i dare ask the people that work there 2 see if they no what the difference is they dont seem the brighest bunch

Yeh know what you mean. my first pair i ordered online and turned out 2 males. went to lfs and theirs were young and difficult to tell differnce and the lfs assistant didn`t have clue so i went somewhere else the lfs still did not have a clue but you could clearly see the difference, so i finally got myself a pair

Females have a pink blush on thier belly and lack the 2 long dorsal rays
Males have more blue
