I picked up a couple of German Blue Rams from my LFS today. I was hoping for a M/F pair but i have ended up with 2 males.

They are housed in a 24g (20ukg) at the moment. They are showing a little aggression towards each other (1 chasing the other etc) but nothing major.

Will these 2 guys be ok together or could i run into problems in the future?

I have another 15g tank in which i could re-home 1 ram if need be. Would they be happier kept as a pair or on their own?

Cheers :)

Either re-home one or trade it for a female... no need having them beat each other up.

Ive got 3 male and 1 female ram in my 30G and they show very very little aggression to each other. The four of them actually group together most of the time, looks really nice. Ive found the to be nowhere near as territorial or aggressive as Ive read, maybe Ive just been lucky.

They seem to be ignoring each other at the moment so i'll see how they get on over the next few days and i will re-home 1 if more problems persist.

A huge fight just broke out between the 2. So i have moved 1 into my 15g.

I'll see how they get on alone.

Simply take one back to the shop and get a female. Problem solved :)
