I just went to a certain petstore looking for plants and saw a tank with 3 german blue rams in it. Perfect, this is what I wanted for my 29 gallon. I asked for a male and female and the lady was like, you can tell them apart right? So yeaa I THINK I got 1 male and 1 female. Im not positive. Can someone point me to pictures of each or ways to tell apart, I searched for pictures and everything but ya its hard to tell.

Well female german rams have a pink spot on their belly. If that is there then it is definately a female ram.

Thanks I have come to the conclusion that Im clueless on what they are. One barely has any color to it, neither have a pink spot, the other one with color has the longer black fin but sadly i dont think they like eachother =( They are at opposite spots in my tank and hiding blaaaaaah Thanks so much for the links though Ill have to see if I can get a picture of them

at the end of a females dorsal fin, it is rounded unlike the males which is pointy and extended,

They are both extremely small and dont have much color yet, the blue is barely there. I guess Ill have to wait a bit, but atleast they find eachother and are now together.

Ya, they are probaly young right now. Wait about 1 month and see. If you can post a pic that would be even better :D
