Anyone had any success with them?

I'm thinking of putting a pair (MM) in my new 55(uk) gal, but have heard some stories on their low lifespan.

Can anyone comment?

I bought a pair and they died after about 2 months
they got ich as soon as i put them in the tank and then just kept having one disease after the other

all the other fish were fine

This thread answered a whole lot of Ram questions that I had. I'm going to get a pair, too, but not for awhile.
