I`ve bought some elodea, cabomba and hornwort which I`m going to let float to provide cover for my fish. Is there a good complete general fertilizer (will I need one ?) that anyone could recommend. In terrestrial plant terms I`m meaning something like phostrogen or miraclegro

Thanks

What's the setup? Tank size, fish numbers, maintenance..

You probably won't need fertilizer for those plants.. I mainly used mine for Crypts and carpeting plants. Something like the Sera Florenette A would probably work well for your tank.

Yes, so wouldn't work for the Hornwort but would for the other two.

I wouldnt use root tabs as they aren't brilliant, especially for those species as their main nutrient uptake root is through the water column. A weekly dose of easylife profito or tropica plant nutrition+ will keep them going.
If you notice defficencies then increase the frequency of dosing.
