Gbr Vs Kribs

Which one would be better for a 10 gallon tank or do they both need a bigger tank.
Also how do you tell what krib is female? is it the on with the pink belly?

I was hoping on keeping them in a 20 by 10 by 12 just with plants and caves.

But what fish? And how many?

As Truck said, the tanks a bit small, but if the kribs were the only fish in there, or only sharing it with, say 6 tetras, then it could be fairly comfortable for them.

@ kribs i think they are "Pelvicachromis pulcher" but im not sure

Okay, GBR's are extremely sensitive to water quality. That being said, bigger is better. The bigger the tank, the easier it is to take care of the water. When the tank is small, the water can fluctuate in quality, thus killing the GBR's. Kribensis are much hardier and boisterous. But, when they breed (and they will) the tank will then become to small. I suggest picking another fish. Something like Multies?

So I could keep one in a ten gallon. i was hoping to breed them but i guess not. I might just go with my original plan and do livebearers.
