Gbr Just Added A Male Longfin

i have a lovely female gbr just added a male about 3 hrs ago since adding the male her belly has gone extremely pink and the male will not stop following her around the tank is this a good sign they could pair ? also the male is a long fin will stop them from spawning ?

Yes it is a good sign. The normal and long finned are exactly the same, the long finned have been bred for that characteristic. Not sure if its dominant or recessive and what inheritance pattern it follows so cannot tell you what fry you would get.
