Im not trying to do this intentially before you all start saying how wrong it is

But iv got 1 female gbr (male died)
And a pair of golden rams

Now is the male ram like guppies in the sense once the female golden is pregnant he will go for the female gbr?

Cheers

Rams don't get 'pregnant' as such, just full of eggs. Your male could partner either of the female fish, there's no way of telling which he might prefer; cichlids, in general, prefer to pick their own partners.

Rams are pair spawners though, not harem spawners like apistogrammas, so your 'odd' female could come in for a very hard time, when and if the two other pair up. You're very likely to have to remove her from the tank, or the pair could kill her.

As for crossing blue and gold rams, I did look it up the genetics a while back, when someone else asked about it, but can't remember what the outcome would be! They're only colour morphs of the same species (a bit like crossing yellow and black Labradors), so there wouldn't be any issues with hybridising to worry about.
