Galaxy Rasboras!

what is the required ph for galaxy rasboras as ive seen several places say they require acidic and other places say the require alkaline??
Also does anybody know what plants etc they like??

Though I haven't seen any confirmed water stats from their area of origin, I have found them hardy at both soft acidic and hard alkaline water conditions. I have seen many reports of Anacharis making up the bulk of the plant matter in their origional habitat There are wide temerature fluctuations in their natural habitat, so they are flexible here. Anacharis however prefurs cooler water, say arround 24 centigrade.

EDIT to add; Java moss, and other types of moss, make ideal spawning areas for these fish. They are relitively easy to breed, and rarely eat their own fry.
