well i awoke this morning then bout half hour after i checked the tank to find that only one of my sleeper gobies from my mated pair had come out to greet me. of course i knew where the other is and after seeing no movement i knew exactly what'd happened, they'd made their home under a large piece of l/r in my tank and so fare thered been no signs of poor construction on their part and it was still in tact with their hole creating a great hide away, anyway so yeah on closer inspection and lifting up the rock i found him. he'd gotten his head stuck under the rock sometime in the wee houres of the morning my poor mated pair /sigh. i squished my poor mated sleeper gobie pair . well i guess ive gotta take it as atleast the other is eating well. the worst thing was he was still soft and floppy and not smelly so itd probably just happened ...

Perhaps, nothing's 100% in the pairing world though... Sorry bout your loss, that stinks
