Fuzzy White Stuff Growing

Hi there, I recently started adding co2 from the Nutrafin system. This morning I woke up to this fuzzy white stuff growing on the bubble ladder. It is blocking the flow of Co2 up the ladder and I have no idea what it is. I cleaned it off and put it back but the bubbles are getting stuck on the ladder now. Can anyone tell me what it is and what I can do to stop it from coming back? Thanks in advance!

O, I also had a dead Oto this morning also.

Sounds like some kind of fungus

I think its the mixture leaking into the tank, you may want to look at redoing your mixture.
