Further Delay, Have To Wait Til 3.9.10 To Fill New Tank?

Finally got the tank and cabinet all set up and found a sticker from the company saying that the tank isn`t to be filled until 3rd September! :hyper:

When we opened the sliding glass doors on top of the tank we were hit by silicone fumes and guess this is the reason for the delay. Is this normal and do we have to actually wait before we can start filling the tank? :huh:

Have got a new FX5 filter today so got on with sorting that out so that it`s ready to go and have put the new background on too, but I am really, really itching to get started on planting and filling the tank :sad:

I know, it`s torture!!

I can just imagine the fish are looking across the room thinking 'Let me into that mansion!!!' :lol:

Seriously though I would have thought that if you have to delay setting up a brand new tank then the staff at MA would have known and told us....hmmm, obviously not :huh:

If it had been sitting in a shop for a while before being bought then it would be ok to do it straight away but as it`s newly made I guess we`ll just have to wait.... unless anyone knows different.
