Wondered if you guys could help me. All has been fine in our fish tank for a few weeks now so we thought we at last had a happy tank. We've bought a quaranteen tank but that is cycling at the moment. I noticed last night that one of our five glowlights has funny white patches on its see through body. Its red stripe is still there, hasn't faded but just these white patches. It isn't ich as we've had that and we know what to look for. I've done a water stat and everything is fine. We are due a water change tonight, we do one once a week x

Could be anything, need to elaborate as much as you can....
Even better, get a decent pic :good:

It looks like its inside it, little white lumps inside but the actual fish isn't lumpy, its all over it apart from its head x

NTD, neon tetra disease?
Have a look at this link, to be honest i can't find any particularly useful pics of it, try googling if you can't tell from the pics provided.

Theres a few others it could be but could you confirm or reject NTD as a possibility......
Pleistophora hyphessobryconis is the latin name (which may help with your search).

Our quarantine tank has now cycled so I've put him in there this morning, but I just don't know what's wrong with him so I don't know what to treat him with. We did have a few neon tetras lose their colour so we got them out the tank pretty quickly and that was a while ago but maybe the glowlight got it and its taken more time x
