I am having a problem getting rid of fungus. I have a young mollie who developed a white fungus around her gill. I have been treating her with fungus medication for way over a week now and there is no sign at all of improvement. It doesnt seem to be getting worse but nothing is happening. I think my other one might be starting to get it now too! Should i give her a salt bath?? I do keep salt in her tank on a regular basis. And what about an antibiotic like tetracycline??? Would that help get rid of it??

Yes start usng he tetracycline, don't forget to increase aeration, and don't forget that tetracycline wipes most of the bacteria out in the filter, good luck.

Thanks for the help. Do you suppose this would get rid of the fungus problem??? In addition to the tetracycline, should i keep up with the fungus meds too???

No just use the tetracycline, good luck.
