Hi,
Barney the Betta has had some grey fungus growth to the side of this head for a few weeks now.
I have given him two week-long treatments of Protozin back-to-back (finished the 2nd course yesterday), and although its cleared up the fungus a bit, its still very much there.
This morning I've done a 60% water change and put a carbon filter in to clear the rest of the exsiting meds.
Should I commence a third treatment of Protozin, try something better (if you know of anything), or leave it a few days to see if it clears up on its own?
One other point, since I started the 2nd week of treatment, Barney seems a little out of sorts. He's less active than usual, and is turning his nose up at the Hinari Gold food that he's happily eaten for a year now. He will eat bloodworm (from frozen) though. Any ideas for this behaviour? Up til now, the fungus didn't seem to bother him.
Thanks for any advice,
TT.
